Elected and served as the youngest City of Hollister City Council member and later went on to become Mayor of the City of Hollister in 1986.

First Time Siblings Elected Mayor

He and his brother, Fernando, made history when he was elected to Hollister City Council as the first time two siblings had held the position as Mayor and City Council members.
